A Prediction of a Successful Seed Campaign
Introducing PredictX — The first PuP on Launchpool!
We wanted to bring you a project which would not only whet your appetite for future projects but exemplify the future projects we would aim to submit for review, analysis and potential participation by the Launchpool community. As with anything new, predicting the sentiment within a community for a product or a project is always a tentative and nail-biting time for both the team and the seed investors.
How Do You Make The Decision?
There are so many aspects which come in to play, when judging the deck one will offer, the white paper one will write and the team one will acquire and, most importantly, the problem one will solve. They will define the results of the seed round and in many cases any further rounds thereafter. Most projects in the seed stage have not yet built out communities or started any marketing because that is what the seed stage is for — To acquire the necessary seed funding to build out your product and initiate initial campaigns to gain traction.
As a Launchpool community participant, you may not have experienced this entrepreneurial journey. In most cases, we imagine that a typical $LPOOL token holder is used to discovering projects further down the line, after this process has matured and the results of campaigns have started to kick in and the FOMO unleashed upon the crypto markets.
With Launchpool, that’s about to change! Our goal is to bring quality projects early enough in their crypto journey that our $LPOOL community can meaningfully participate, and hopefully aid in the growth of, the projects we bring to our pools. Not all projects will be seed stage, but that will certainly be an important part of the fabric of our community.
PredictX — Our First PuP
What better project to kick off our innovative new PuP initiative than an actual prediction market play! After all, that is exactly the game we are all in here, the game of predicting, of trying to gauge the future success of a project in its earliest stages, exactly when the risk of failure is at its highest.
With this in mind, we introduce to you one such company we are very excited about. A seed stage gem just about to embark on its journey.
We introduce PredictX, a fully decentralised protocol level project which brings the prediction markets to the decentralised finance space.
PredictX prioritizes (1) the user experience (2) maximizing liquidity. The end goal is to create a user-friendly prediction markets platform powered by a truly decentralized protocol that is easily integrated with other DeFi platforms and other blockchains such as Polkadot.
- Live AMM based prediction markets (Real-world mass product that is optimized through DeFi)
- Faster and cheaper transactions through Polkadot and Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
- Focus is on great UX/prioritizing the user experience with every iteration
- Incentives for both liquidity providers and users
- Non-custodial, non-centralized and open to everyone
The goal is to create a completely decentralized protocol with incentive structures for voters of new markets as well as for participants.
I hope this provides enough information for people to start their research. The whitepaper will be pinned to the Launchpool Telegram chat. Tokenomics specifically will follow shortly before the pool opens. Suffice to say there is only one round — seed. And it is very small, like a puppy.
Sincerely,
Richard Simpson
CEO, Launchpool
