Launchpool is adapting their $LPOOL staking pool rewards to benefit the growing Pooler community.
To the communities of PAID, 1INCH, Bondly, Polkastarter, ThorChain, ShareRing, STP Network, Sushiswap, and Uniswap… we salute you. We’re grateful for your participation in our project. We have given generously and freely to these communities in the hope that they will come to support our vision of egalitarian investing and a #FairLaunch4All.
We hope that now you are $LPOOL token holders and will remain a part of the Launchpool community as you stake for crypto gems in our Allocation Mining Events. We couldn’t have hoped for a better bootstrapped launch.
We are now well over 15,000 strong on Twitter and 12,000 strong on Telegram, so we feel like it’s time we stood up on our own two feet and rewarded our community for being so enthusiastic about our mission!
At Launchpool we foster innovation, so it’s with honor that we are launching our Allocation Mining Events (AME) with Unizen, as forward-thinking a crypto exchange as you will find. Our second AME will be with Mixsome, a hugely exciting project that we cannot wait to launch. We believe it will bring DeFi to the masses by making it easier for a new influx of crypto industry participants as this massive bull run continues.
With a bursting pipeline of innovative projects, it pushes us to innovate ourselves! We are doing that now by enabling the support of projects on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). We wish to continue in this endeavour and, at the same time, reward our community and our projects. So it is with some sadness that I am calling time on the bootstrapping staking pools. We need to divert the rewards currently going to the 8 Launchpools (naked $LPOOL and Univ2 will remain) that started our farming distribution event to properly incentivize the launch of our pools on Binance Smart Chain! We believe this better serves the Launchpool community.
$LPOOL Staking Pools on Binance Smart Chain
So it is with huge excitement that we announce that the $LPOOL that was due to be distributed to these pools will now be channeled into $LPOOL pools on Binance Smart Chain. We will incentivize a single-asset staking pool for $LPOOL, just like what we have on Ethereum, where you’ll be able to stake $LPOOL to get more $LPOOL. We’ll also have a well-incentivized LPOOL/BNB LP pool, just like we have for LPOOL/ETH UNI-V2 tokens on Ethereum. In addition, we’ll also be incentivizing project partner pools. The first one on BSC will be related to RAI Finance, one of our PuP alumni. This staking pool will be simple.
Stake $RAI BEP20 to earn $LPOOL BEP20. Stay tuned to find out exactly when this pool will be going live. There will be more partner staking pools like this to come.
A New Dawn (Anyone for pancakes?)
This change to our incentive mechanism strucutre will both bring more value to $LPOOL token holders as well as allow us to support new pools for our upcoming projects, where the project provides a similar service to Launchpool. This better aligns our community and the project community as we believe the communities will share many participants.
The retirement of the original bootstrapping Launchpool pools (the naked $LPOOL and UNIv2 pool on Ethereum will remain as they are) will commence in the next two weeks. We have lots to do and launches coming up so we’re not fixing a date, but don’t be surprised if it happens at the end of next week.
The new project staking pools will typically run for 30 days, however this is subject to amendment for each project. The goal is to assist the project towards their MVP release.
