Launchpool was excited to host Guv Kang, Founder and CEO of BrickTrade for an interactive Ask-Me-Anything session with the Launchpool Community. This AMA comes in anticipation of BrickTrades’s Allocation Mining Event on Launchpool on Monday Feburary 21st. The session lasted approximately 1hr, and consisted of questions from the Launchpool Team as well as questions from the Community.

Hello and Welcome all LPOOLers, as many in our Community already know, today we have an AMA session with Guv Kang, Founder and CEO of BrickTrade. Bricktrade is an independent investment management firm focused on high value — low risk property investment opportunities.
As always, the chat will be muted for roughly 30 mins whilst we ask the pre-prepared questions. After this, we will open up to questions from the Community for another 15 mins. We will also enable “Slow Mode” for all questions.

Mickie: Please tell us a bit about yourself, your background and your involvement with the space.
Guv Kang: I am Guv Kang, Founder and CEO of Bricktrade. I have more than 15 years of experience in the real estate sector as the founder of Waterfronts.co.uk — a premium real estate agent located in London’s Docklands, with offices in Hong Kong. My expertise is in real estate sales and letting, development launches, redevelopment projects, property investment fundraising and managing relations with housing authorities.
Mickie: Great! Passion drives you to build BrickTrade. Could you tell us about the rest of the BrickTrade Team?
Guv Kang: We have brought together a very experienced team all if whom have in-depth knowledge of their individual industries and skill sets, such as Blockchain, property, asset valuation and acquisitions;

Mickie: What problem are you trying to solve? What is the overall vision for the BrickTrade project?
Guv Kang: We are trying to solve a few issues at once and think we have developed answers for them all!
Firstly, the issue of low interest rates for savers on their money in the bank.
Secondly, the issue of property developers finding it hard to acquire finance for construction and the housing shortage.
Thirdly, the issue of property purchasing/investing for individuals is becoming nearly impossible, as you need a large initial injection of funds for the deposit.
Our mission is to revolutionise property finance and investing. Bricktrade is a property tokenization platform that utilises the power of the crowd to raise construction finance for property developers.
Our innovative structure coupled with blockchain tech makes property investing more liquid and accessible to investors, whilst simultaneously providing real asset backed investments. Bricktrade pays bank-beating interest rates to investors (100x) whilst improving access to capital for property developers.
Mickie: You won me at low interest rates. I agree that banks don’t have high offers. How are you differentiated from other similar projects?
Guv Kang: Bricktrade has a number of unique features;

Mickie: Where are you at in your roadmap? Could you please talk us through the next steps.
Guv Kang: What we have achieved so far is:
- Produced our Whitepaper
- Brought together an experienced Team
- Designed the platform
- Developed our Beta platform
- Developed our 2x apps (IOS & Android)
This is a new road map for the future
This roadmap is from Q4 2021 till Q2 2023, for which we are on target. We have our compliance team in place and are in the process of being regulated by the FCA. Our blockchain and skating functionality will be announced by the end of Q1 as will our listing of the $BRKT token on exchanges, currently pre listed on;

Mickie: Looking nice! Great progress for the team. How was the project funded up to this point? How will the funds from the pre-IDO be used?
Guv Kang: I have self funded (over 150k) since we started research and development of the platform in 2018, until our seed raise in December 2021. The funds raised by the pre-IDO will be deployed as follows;

Mickie: Great team! What made you choose Launchpool as your launchpad partner for the AME?
Guv Kang: We were lucky to get into Launchpool Labs. We had explored the VC route for funding but an incubator suited our project much better. Mickie: What is the total allocation you’ve set aside for the Launchpool community? Are there any limitations or is the Allocation Mining Event open to everyone? Please list any countries that are excluded from the allocation event due to regulatory reasons.

Mickie: Thanks for sharing this list for the knowledge of our Community. What happens after the AME? Could you talk us through the tokenomics: total supply, initial circulating supply, initial market cap, initial vesting, total vesting period (from launch until when will the last token be vested for), etc.
Guv Kang: In order to offer a structured and fair investment, our TGE takes place over 10 months where investors are given 10% of their allocation over the course of 10 months. The Initial Market Cap $545,000 post raise will be $1,545,000.00
Mickie: What are the use cases for the token? Do you have any mechanisms planned to support the DeFi component?
Guv Kang: $BRKT Token holders will have the ability to view and invest into various projects we will be listing on our marketplace, with all asset backed. We will also be introducing skating pools where we will purchase income generating build assets and share yields with our investors. We will also offer token staking with Yields of over 10% based on the amounts staked.

Questions from the Launchpool Community
Question: Regulation is very important. Many projects were closed in many countries due to failure to use the correct regulations and permits. In order to go global how does BrickTrade intend to deal with these issues?
Guv Kang: We will shortly be approved with the FCA (a UK financial authority) to be authorised and regulated for:
- Crypto Assets
- Crowdfunding
- Manage Client Funds
- Issue Securities
Question: How do you deal with the Community about trust, since trust is very important in investing?!
Guv Kang: I have personally been in the same business for over 15 yrs, with all of our clients having trusted us to look after their high value assets in London for the whole of that time, we only know the long term.
- We are a real company made of real people, with real assets and real contracts. We are not a Defi platform that can rug pull its audience as we have responsibilities to the Financial Conduct Authority
- We have spent 3 years developing our methodology, we are not looking to throw this away for short term gain, we are building a unicorn business
Question: Since your entry for property investment is £500 I’m interested to purchase property in BrickTrade. Please tell me the procedure for this?
Guv Kang: Once we launch our platform this year it will allow property developers to send us projects, we will then carry out full due diligence on them and also valuations, costings, timelines on the project and then these will be published for our Investors to be able to invest into the construction finance of the project or into the properties being built. With our partners Waterfronts we can rent and manage the property on the crowd of investors in each property.
