As many in our Community already know, today we have an AMA session with Nick Carlile, CEO of Olivia AI.

Nick C: Hey, thanks again for having us here.
Jean-Marc: It’s our pleasure. Can you please start by telling our community a bit more about yourself, your background and your involvement with the space?
Nick C: Good morning to all, I’m Nick and I come from a background of various businesses across a number of sectors. With regards to crypto, I first discovered and started trading when BTC was at $4000 in 2017.
We have an AI business that helps real world (nine crypto) projects run their businesses and this is the tech that we are bringing to the Web3 space.
So I’m a businesses person first and crypto second.

Jean-Marc: 2017 feels like two decades ago in the crypto world. Things have changed quite a lot since then for sure.
Nick C: Yeah, you’re telling me. I’d like to say that I held that BTC until now but I sold it for a good profit at the time!
Jean-Marc: I’m sure our community will be pleased to hear that you have experience offering AI solutions to Web 2 business.
Nick C: Yes. We have a range of clients that use Olivia in their businesses. This includes DPD (£1.5 bn). Kazai Capital. And 28 USS universities.
Jean-Marc: That’s an impressive portfolio of companies. I think the Web3 space can benefit from experienced teams like yourself bringing real world application knowledge to crypto.
Nick C: We also have Olivia powering parts of other crypto projects. TON blockchain have recently asked us for a specific solution for them using Olivia.
Jean-Marc: Could you tell us about the rest of the team?
Nick C: Yes. My two business partners are both experienced business owners. They have run an insurance company, a chain of restaurants and a marketing agency.
Our lead developer is a genuine genius. He delivers what our clients needs and makes a massive impact in their businesses.
We also have a full time trader in our team that is able to give insights directly into the Olivia eco system!
Jean-Marc: Having TON added to your portfolio is a huge achievement in itself. Seems like there’s no stopping you guys!!
On that point, what problem are you trying to solve, what is the overall vision for the Olivia AI project?
Nick C: Olivia brings everything you need for crypto research, analysis and trading into one place.
All those screens and open tabs can be eliminated — you just ask Olivia

- Whats the sentiment in the team Telegram for that coins?
- Can you buy me 1 TON worth of this coin and exit when I make 20%
All done within the Olivia app without needing to leave the app! We also have real world integrations coming where you will be able to order an Uber or a Pizza or a hotel room within the app.
Jean-Marc: Interesting. I can see how that would work for someone in Launchpool’s community today.
How are you differentiated from other similar projects?
Nick C: The main difference we see compared with other projects, is this is built. Olivia is no longer a set of wishes on a road map. She is live and we have over 130,000 people in the community and 55,000 people with a connected TON wallet to Olivia.
We won the TON Global Hackathon ahead of 3000 other projects last year when we showcased the capability of Olivia to TON.
Jean-Marc: That’s a big value proposition. Far too often we see projects offering huge “ideas” that sometimes go nowhere because it doesn’t leave the idea stage.
It’s great to know that you have the technology built and the previous experience of implementation based on the services you offer.
Nick C: Yes, we spent almost 12 months building Olivia to this point!
Jean-Marc: Congratulations to you and your Team on winning the TON Hackathon. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy feat winning a competition hosted by them as it is used globally.
Nick C: Yeah, 100%. There were some incredible projects in that contest.
Jean-Marc: Where are you at in your roadmap? Could you please talk us through the next steps?
Nick C: At the moment we have Olivia able to trade on the TON blockchain directly within Telegram. Anyone with a telegram handle has a TON wallet — they just have to claim it.
Next we go cross chain. We are also building an app that will operate on iOS and Android. You will also be able to use your voice to interact with Olivia rather than typing — this will be Q2 as it’s almost ready now.
Jean-Marc: How was the project funded up to this point? How will the funds from the sale be used?
Nick C: We funded the project primarily from our Web2 business.
- The Alphabit fund were our first investor and we also took a ticket from TGE Ventures
- Funds will be used to accelerate the development and reach of Olivia.
Jean-Marc: Ideas create businesses which in turn create more ideas and more businesses…..I like it!!
Are there any strategic partners that you can share?
Nick C: Yes, loads!!

A whole load of partnerships will follow. As I mentioned, TON themselves have a use case for Olivia that we are building now. Nathan was also in Paris this weekend and agreed partnerships with Matchchain…..with loads more in the pipeline!!
The beauty about how we have built Olivia is that we can integrate any partner with almost any project
Jean-Marc: What made you choose Launchpool as your launchpad partner for the sale?
Nick C: We have been working with Launchpool since April last year. The support and guidance has been great, and they were there when we were just an idea.
Jean-Marc: I remember those days…..LoL
Nick C: Yes, loads of long meetings.
Jean-Marc: I must say, it’s been a whirlwind of success these past months. Looking forward to continuing to work with you guys on achieving Olivia’s full potential.
What is the total allocation you’ve set aside for the Launchpool community? Are there any limitations or is the sale open to everyone?
Nick C: An allocation of $25k has been allocated to the Launchpool community. This is spread across the regular AME staking pools and the new FCFS pools at Launchpool
The sale is open to $LPOOL holders and also on a FCFS basis! Everyone that is KYC’ed on Launchpool can take part.
Jean-Marc: Great to hear. I’m sure those tuning in are eager to take part. The deposits for the AME staking pools were opened yesterday and the FCFS sale starts in about 20 mins from now.
What are the use cases for the token? Do you have any mechanisms planned to support the DeFi component such as staking, burning, earning, spending, etc?
Nick C: The full list is shown in the token utility part of the deck…..we have premium access to features, partner rewards, staking incentives, etc
Plus with the AI Agent Marketplaces, those use cases will continue to grow. Defi and staking yes, burning yes, earning in marketplace yes.
