Launchpool Year in Review — 2021
Dear Launchpoolers,
The year of the Ox has certainly been a bull ride, thanks for being there with us.
Since our launch in February, it has been a fantastic 11 months of exponential growth for the platform, and going forward our mission remains unchanged; to democratise the early stage investing landscape so that it is accessible and fair for all. In this letter we’d like to share with you some of the highlights from the year.
With 30 pre-IDO launches successfully completed on Launchpool with a combined value of over $10m at private round pricing, offered to our growing community of over 20,000 KYC’d members, our launches have continued to break records right up to the final weeks of this year. Alongside these launches, we have given away over $20,000 of free tokens and will continue to incentivise active community contribution across Twitter, Telegram and Discord in the new year.
Several months into the growth of Launchpool, we realised there was an opportunity to build an incubator, where the most loyal Launchpool community members could gain access to exclusive pre-seed and seed allocations, via a unique NFT-tier system. This is how Launchpool Labs was born.
With the help of the entire team, including our valued Council, Launchpool Labs Cohort1 was launched in August 2021, with a total of 5 projects incubated (NOWwhere, Megafans, Unicred, BrickTrade, Nifty Football). We are wrapping up the year with all 5 projects having successfully raised their pre-seed and seed from the exclusive Launchpool Labs Investor Club members (over $2mil in total), and ready to pre-IDO on Launchpool.
I’d like to thank you all for the growth opportunities, for the endless hours of discussions, feedback, DMs, brainstorming on how to make the community stronger, more united, how to innovate together continuously, from our offerings, to our technical products, and so much more. Seeing how much the community has grown and evolved, as well as all the future transformations and directions it will take, brings us great joy and an eagerness to enter 2022 knowing we’ve achieved something great together.
We have a whole host of exciting developments and incredible projects coming in January that we can’t wait to share with you all.
