TimechainSwap — Fantom’s new advanced aggregation protocol
Timechain is a multi-chain Decentralized Exchange aggregator. It is built as an Automated Market Maker on Fantom (FTM) network and expanding to Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum next.

Existing Options
Decentralized exchanges are a rapidly growing field of operation for both new and existing blockchains. The use case for DEX aggregators becomes clear as a result of their high demand. Decentralized exchanges are just as hot as the next yield farming platform, with DeFi on Fantom gaining popularity and use-cases every day.
This trend has resulted in a large number of different DEXs across all chains, which can be confusing to both newcomers and veterans. Keeping track of all of these exchanges can be exhausting, not to mention time-consuming, if you want to find the best prices or yields. Users can get lost in the vast number of trading platforms when trying to find the best possible exchange to swap funds.
With the likes of Spiritswap, Sushiswap, Spookyswap, Paintswap, etc the list of AMM’s named after food and mystical creatures are fairly confusing for users. In a growing network, it is critical for new users to understand not only the network itself, but also the entire ecosystem and community.
Timechain saw a need for a Fantom Opera Network-based service. Fantom, as a relatively new but rapidly growing blockchain with new projects launching on a regular basis, positions itself in a favourable environment for DeFi applications. DEXs are incredibly popular right now, with over a dozen projects already offering AMM services on the new network. Timechain helps to lower the entry barrier and prevent confusion in a sea of unique DEX’s available by providing a one-stop destination for trading and DeFi activities.
Technology & the $TCS Token
Timechain currently aggregates all major DEX’s on the Fantom Opera Network, giving users access to the provided liquidity on Spiritiswap, Spookyswap, Paintswap, Sushiswap, Curve, Wakaswap, Hyperjump, Elk Finance and Operaswap.
Using the dedicated algorithm, developed by Timechain, the routes across all of these exchanges will be optimised for more efficient trading to save the users money and time. Paired with a custom built network bridge (currently in development) across all major blockchain networks, users will be able to directly transfer $TCS and other assets across the Fantom, BSC and Ethereum network.
Holders of the native Timechain token $TCS, will save on bridging fees when using the cross-network transfer, further incentivising the usage of the token and increasing utility. $TCS will be used in a variety of use cases across the Timechain ecosystem, including fee reduction, the participation in IDO’s and the attractive passive income opportunities that DeFi offers.
On Timechain itself, all AMM pools will be paired with the Timechain token, to streamline the user experience. Deeply integrated into the platform’s ecosystem, the token will also be used in the standard yield farming opportunities such as staking and liquidity pools, earning the user passive income on their investments.
